Back from the beach

Just gone back from The Spring, after having dinner at Sushi King. Luckily we reached there early and there were some vacant seats. We ordered the set dinner plus few sushi platters.

In my previous post, I were saying that we are going to the Damai Resort for an overnight stay. We reached Damai around 2pm on Saturday afternoon. Little J was sleeping throughout the 45 minutes drive. When we reached there, Little J has woke up.

Little J posed before heading to the beach

After unpacked our stuff and refreshed ourselves, we went to the beach around 5pm. Both Big J and Little J went for a swim while I took the time for a stroll and take few shots of the beach. Btw, it was Little J’s first time to Damai, so I took lots of shots of the beach and hers this time round. The weather was great although occasional rain drop.

Helping daddy unwrap the present

In the evening, we went to the Treez for my company dinner. And Big J won himself a big present in the Malta drinking competition. LOL! He won a box of detergent.

Mummy and little gal having a game of mini golf

Our activity this morning included a stroll along the beach, breakfast and mini golf. Little J was not playing golf, but more like playing hockey with one hand. LOL. Although it was a 10-hole course, we gave up at the 5-hole as we cannot stand the heat plus Little J was “cheating” along the way. Hardly giving her parents chance to hit the ball at all! LOL! We departed from Damai at 12noon.

We are off to the beach for a night

The Ling is going to Damai Beach tomorrow. Yes! A family day organized by my company. Each staff entitled to bring 1 adult and 2 kids, so I am bring Big J and Little J along. Just pay RM90 only for a one night stay. Reasonable right?

I haven’t pack for the trip. Nothing much to bring, but the most important thing is to remember to bring Little J’s swimsuit. She loves to play with water. I guess all children are, right? Leisure and easy is in the programme. There will be a buffet dinner cum lucky draw in the evening. And the theme? Pirate of the Carribeans. So we got to dress up to the occasion. *wink*

A tiring week

Wake up, go to work, come back and sleep. Hardly have energy to play and do things with my Little J. And our bedroom is a mess too. I have not been cleaning and mopping the floor for 1 week. I will do it tomorrow, no matter what!!

Sigh! After back from work, all I can think of is rest. Big J also sleep early now these days, I guess work taking a toll on him as well. But usually before we dozed off, we will update each other on works and happenings. Big J just got confirmed by his company after 3 months. It is a call for celebration, but that would have to be postponed to other day when he got his pay cheque. LOL.

New role of Little J: Take care of little sister

Everyone keep asking me when I am going to have a 2nd baby. OMG! I just change my job less than 2 months ago, so for the time being, having baby will be at the back of my mind. But sometimes I pity Little J as she is alone, play by herself with no one to share her toys and stuff. Sigh! Both Big J and myself have 2 other younger siblings respectively. When we were small, the house is always full of noise and fighting around, but that is the fun of having younger siblings, where we shared good and bad times together.

Maybe my Little J is big enough to understand having a younger sibling around? Now she is acting like “Big Sister”, looking after the little one. Little J is very fond of her younger cousin (who is exactly 1 year younger than Little J). Whenever they met, Little J will kiss her cousin non stop either on the cheek, mouth or forehead. LOL! What an affection!

She even look after her cousin, holding her hand and direct her around, making sure her cousin is not wondering here and there. Aren’t they cute?

10 commandments in marriage

Got this email from a friend. Disclaimer : I am not discouraging you to get married, and the following are for reading pleasure only

COMMANDMENT 1

Marriages are made in heaven.
But so are thunder and lightning.

COMMANDMENT 2

If you want your wife to listen and pay strict attention to every
Word you say, talk in your sleep.

COMMANDMENT 3

Marriage is grand -- and divorce is at least 100 grand!

COMMANDMENT 4

Married life is very frustrating.
In the first year of marriage, the man speaks and the woman listens.
In the second year, the woman speaks and the man listens.
In the third year, they both speak and the neighbors listen.

COMMANDMENT 5

When a man opens the door of his car for his wife, you can be sure
Of one thing: Either the car is new or the wife is.

COMMANDMENT 6

Marriage is when a man and woman become as one;
The trouble starts when they try to decide which one.

COMMANDMENT 7

Before marriage, a man will lie awake all night thinking about
Something you say. After marriage, he will fall asleep before you
Finish.

COMMANDMENT 8

Every man wants a wife who is beautiful, understanding, economical,
And a good cook. But the law allows only one wife.

COMMANDMENT 9

Marriage and love are purely matter of chemistry.
That is why wife treats husband like toxic waste.

COMMANDMENT 10

A man is incomplete until he is married.
After that, he is finished..

BONUS COMMANDMENT STORY
A long married couple came upon a wishing well.
The husband leaned over, made a wish and threw in a penny.
The wife decided to make a wish too.
But she leaned over too much, fell into the well, and drowned.
The husband was stunned for a moment but then smiled and said,
Hey! This thing really works!

Thinking for a perfect present

When it comes to present, I hate thinking of what to buy. Nothing seemed good, especially when the present is meant for the loved one. You get what I mean?

Big J’s birthday is coming up next month, and I have yet plan to buy anything for him. For the past years, either I bought him a wallet, belt or shirt, or treat him to a nice Western 3-course dinner but I am planning of getting something different for him.

He did indicated that he planned to get new wallet for himself as his current one not in good condition. Some part of the wallet is torn due to many loose papers and ringgit notes stacked. LOL! How come his wallets spoiled so fast? I think he keeps changing his wallet almost once a year, mine still can last longer than that!!!

Hmm, what should I get for him? I want something different for him this year. Anyone can give me some tips? What do you get for your hubby on his birthday?
